Details are below: Minnewaska Memorial Day Tournament May 26 – 6:30 Pairing Party & Dinner May 27 – 12:30 Shotgun, 3:00 Shotgun, 5:30 Shotgun May 28 – 8:00 Shotgun, 10:30 Shotgun, 1:30 Shootout Format: 2 Person Team (Pick your partner) Non-Members - $100     ~     Members - $75 Carts ($18 per day, per rider) SPOTS ARE LIMITED. FIRST 24 TEAMS ARE GUARANTEED. Skins & Horse Race Available Saturday – 27 Holes of Match Play(3 – 9 Hole Matches – 4 Ball)     Sunday – 18 Holes of Match Play(2 – 9 Hole Matches – 4 Ball) 90% USGA Handicap Used All Handicaps are at the discretion of the Handicap Committee Teams will be divided into Flights(6 Teams in each flight) by Team Handicap. The flights will be round robin matches. Total Points accumulated in all matches will determine the flight winner. The top team in each flight will advance to the shootout. The next 3 teams with the highest point totals from all flights will advance to the shootout. The last spot in the shootout will be the team with the most points on Sunday. Shootout will be alternate shot with handicap. Prizes for: 1st & 2nd in each flight, 1st, 2nd, & 3rd each day, Top 3 teams in the shootout. We also have a reciprocity agreement with the following clubs: Atikwa Golf Coure @ Arrowwood Resort(Alexandria), Benson Golf Club, Greystone Golf Club(Sauk Centre), Lynx National Golf Course(Sauk Centre), Pebble Lake Golf Course(Fergus Falls), Pomme de Terre Golf Club(Morris), Thumper Pond Golf Course(Ottertail). As a member of Minnewaska Golf Club all you have to pay is a cart fee when you play any of these area courses. The Golf Shop must set up the tee time for you, this is to ensure that you are a member. Leagues are Starting Up Soon! Here is all the information you need! Men's Early League - Same format as in years past(4 Man teams playing against other players of your ability) Dave Hausmann will place everyone on teams and be in charge of the league. 11:30 Shotgun - 18 Holes.  Mid League - 18 Holes, Play your own ball, tee times starting at 2:00. May 11th League Kickoff Scramble, May 18th League Matches start. Sign up in the clubhouse or email minnewaskagc@gmail.com. For more league information click here.  Ladies League - Each Tuesday during the year we have our ladies league. 18 Hole league starts with a 9:00 shotgun and 9 Hole league starts at 10:30.  Couples Night - The format will be the same as in year's past 4 players(2 couples) playing a 9 hole scramble with another group. Each week you can pick the other couple you want to play with(does not need to be the same couple each week) or the golf shop can pair you up with another couple. We will randomly pair you up with another team each week and will have games going each week. Cost per couple per week is $10. We will have sign up each week, so if you know you will be there please let us know. We will be starting the new couples night Wednesday May 17th and running it through the summer. We hope this will encourage more people to join us Wednesday Nights at 6:00! Junior Golf - This year Junior Golf(Ages 12& under) will be starting later in the summer. The first week will be August 2 starting at 6:30 pm. The junior golf program is 5 weeks long and is open to anyone. Cost for the program is $50. Future Stars(Ages 12 & up) will begin Wednesday June 21st and run 9:00 am -12:00 pm. The program runs for 9 weeks and costs $100.  Ladies Spring Clinic - Tuesday May 23rd we will be hosting a ladies spring clinic. Come up from 5:30-7:00 pm and come out and enjoy an evening at MGC. We will be providing instruction on the full swing and help you sharpen up your short game. Cost is $30 & includes one free cocktail following the clinic.
